No. 2801  Roy Herbert Sherry
War Service
Roy Sherry embarked from Melbourne on 27 October 1915, aboard HMAT A38 Ulysees as a member of the 58th Battalion. 

He served in France before considerable spending time in England recovering from a medical complaint. 

Roy departed England, for home, on 15 November 1919 aboard, HT Ypiringa.

He disembarked in Australia on 4 January 1920 and was discharged on 19 March 1920.

Details of a Welcome Home held in honour of Roy and seven other returned serviceman was reported in the Camperdown Chronicle, 31 January 1920, p.4.
