Biographical Text

No.1251  Harold Stanley Morris
War Service
Harold Stanley Morris enlisted on 7 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses, on 27 October 1915.  He was a soldier in the 13th Light Horse. 

After serving in France, and spending time in England receiving treatment for influenza and synovitis, he returned to Australia aboard SS Orita, disembarking on 6 August 1919. 

Harold Morris was discharged on 29 September 1919.

Post War
Harold married Emily Ada Stuart in 1921 and raised a family of three children within the Melbourne area before moving to Queensland where he died in 1965.
