No.V80048  Private Ernest Stubberfield
Ernest Stubberfield enlisted in the AIF in the final months of World War 1. His enlistment papers, signed on 10 September 1918 in Melbourne, described him as being 5 feet 5 inches in height, 127lb in weight, with blue eyes, black hair and a medium complexion. His religion was listed as Methodist. He was also shown to be the father of three young children. 

Owing to the cessation of the war and the demobilisation of the AIF, Ernest didn't see active duty and was discharged on 24 December 1918, after having served 106 days.
